William Hector Jr.

William Henry Hector Jr., age 34, of Missouri, was found deceased on July 16, 2025. Born on May 2, 1991, to William Hector Sr. and Mindy Bushey, Billy lived a life full of passion, grit, and a deep love for his family and the open road.

Billy attended the Windsor C-1 School District and went on to work for AC Towing, where his mechanical skills and dedication made a lasting impact. He had a gift for working on anything with an engine—especially cars and bikes—and could often be found with his hands covered in grease and a smile on his face. Whether it was riding his Hyabusa, heading out to fish, or wrenching on a new project, Billy lived life in motion.

Above all, Billy was a father. He is survived by his beloved children, Austin Hector, Harley Hector, and Aidan Bayuk, who were his pride and joy. He also shared his life with his girlfriend, Megan, and was a loving and present figure to her two sons, Xander and Ryder, who held a special place in his heart.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Cedar Hill Elks Lodge, 8430 Industrial Dr, Cedar Hill, MO 63016. In true Billy fashion, we’d like to give him one last car show—so if you have an awesome bike or car, please bring it in his honor.

Billy will be remembered for his love of engines, the road, and most of all, his children. He left too soon and will be missed beyond measure

    Many know William as Billy or for me in our younger years, he was my “Body Guard / Bouncer / Brother.” As he would call himself.
    Billy had one of the biggest hearts, he would do anything to make someone smile. It never mattered how serious of the matter was, he would crack a joke. Mostly used out of him, “That’s what she said”.
    We made so many fun memories from middle school through after high school—laughing, joking, and just enjoying life. I’ll never forget the “head tops,” or how he’d randomly pretend to fall so I’d have to catch him in the hallways.
    Most of our time together revolved around cars, dirt bikes, 4-wheelers, tattoos, fishing trips, creek adventures, music, paint, and countless hours driving around in the crappiest beaters.
    I can still laugh remembering when we’d have way too many people in the car, and some ended up in the trunk—me included! And of course, Billy never missed a chance to hit every speed bump in the village. Any of my “trunk buddies” remember that?
    I was also the very proud third wheel when he and Katie dated the first time. I was about 20 when life pulled us in different directions, but those days will always hold a special place in my heart. And even though time and distance came between us, we still had that brother/sister bond whenever we ran into each other. Billy had such a big heart, and I’ll always be grateful for the friendship we shared.
    Sending all my love to his kids, friends, and family during this difficult time.
    You will be so unbelievably missed buddy.
    I’ll miss you, “Butt Chin Billy.” 🩵

    ❤️ I will never forget our memories together. I will cherish all the letters from you and photos I have of us together. I wish we could have seen each other again. You will always have a very special place in my heart. I will miss you more than anyone will know. I will always remember you singing me your version of “Here There Delilah” over the phone when we were teenagers dreaming of the future. You were so very special to me. My heart is broken. I will never forget you.
    Forever and always;

    -Sandra
