Janet passed peacefully into the arms of Father God on August 4, 2025 at the age of 75. She was special in a special way, and bravely faced many challenges in this life. Although her absence in our lives will be keenly felt, we can find comfort in knowing that she is now delighting in a freedom and fullness that she never had in this life.

Janet loved her family and the extended family she found in her Emmaus group home, and everyone loved Janet. She would always ask about family members by name. Every morning, she looked forward to attending the Adult Day Center at the JCC and did not want to miss it for any reason. The J was a central part of her life, and a blessing to her and her family. Janet also loved fishing, rug latch, sticker books, games, puzzles and receiving $1 bills. She would never let anyone forget when her birthday was getting near, and she especially loved the holidays.

Janet joins her father, Robert Clever, and her mother, June Clever, in eternal peace. She is survived by her 8 brothers and sisters, Patricia Blumenkamp (Russ), Paul Clever, Michael Clever (Yvonne), Gail Ivey, Douglas Clever (Lisa), Gary Clever (Robin), Barbara Thompson, and Richard Clever.

Visitation at 10:00 a.m. followed by a memorial service and reception beginning at 11:00 will be held on Friday, September 19th at King of Kings Lutheran Church, 13765 Olive Blvd, Chesterfield, MO 63017.
