Taylor McKinney Dyer
Taylor McKinney Dyer was born September 22, 1989 to Darrell and Valerie McKinney in Dallas, TX. She had two open heart surgeries before leaving the hospital. Taylor graduated from Cooper High School in Abilene, TX in 2008. After graduation she moved to Missouri, where she met Art Dyer. They were married in Las Vegas. Taylor graduated Magna Cum Laude from Columbia College in 2024 and was enrolled in a masters program there this fall.
Taylor loved to travel, hand write poetry, songs and Hamilton.
She is survived by her parents (Darrell and Valerie), her husband (Art), her daughter (Tensley), her brothers (Kyle and Blake) and sister (Candace) as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and step children.
A memorial service will take place in Columbia Missouri at Campus Lutheran Church ( 304 S College Ave Columbia, MO 65201) on Saturday August, 23rd 2025. The service will be live streamed on the churches website: https://www.campuslutheran.
There will also be a memorial service in Ferris Texas the following weekend, Saturday the 30th of August. Details to follow on that service.
Tay was one of my best friends and she will be loved and missed tremendously.
