Kenneth B. Simms
Kenneth B Simms, aged 79, died on Tuesday, September 3 after a two year fight against cancer. He leaves behind his wife Lorraine of 59 years, his sons, David, Todd, and Gregory. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Brody, Sawyer, Joey and Amelia. He has a sister, Dawn Kreitz, in New Jersey.
Ken was a millwright and retired from Ethicon in Somerville, New Jersey in 2009. He was a firefighter and a first responder.
He was in the New Jersey National Guard from 1965-1971.
Ken was a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Imperial, Missouri and was an active member of the Prime Timers. A memorial mass will be held on October 23, which would have been his 80th birthday.
