Sharon Gross

Sharon Louise Gross was born on November 17, 1951, in St. Louis,  Missouri, to Garland and Grace Estes. She was the youngest of four siblings.

Sharon was the beloved wife of Charles Gross, who preceded her in death on November 25, 2015. She was called into the Kingdom of Heaven on October 6, 2025.

Sharon is survived by her oldest sister, Arma (Robert) O’Bryan; her daughter, Kimberly Dawn (Matthew) Slade; her son, Kevin Dwayne (Michelle) Estes; her four grandchildren: Zachary Taylor (Jessica) Estes, Jacob (Rylee) Estes, Caleb (Megan) Estes, and Jared Estes; and her two great-grandchildren Waylon and Amelia.

Sharon was also preceded in death by her brothers, Ronnie Estes (2024) and Larry Estes (2022).

Sharon was a beautiful soul, known for her vibrant spirit and impeccable style. She loved makeup, always dressed in colorful outfits, and had a special fondness for her pinks — and, of course, her signature perfume and hats. Her presence could light up any room, especially with her infectious laughter and joyful heart.

Sharon was a woman of strong faith who deeply believed in Jesus. She dedicated many years to working at Gateway Christian School as a preschool teacher, making it possible for her children, Kim and Kevin, to attend private school.

A true cat lover, Sharon was a devoted kitty mommy, and her furry companions brought her so much happiness.

Sharon’s warmth, humor, and love will be dearly missed by all who knew her, including her extended family and many friends.

Memorial Service for Sharon will be on Saturday, October 18th from 12PM to 2PM at St. Louis Cremation (2135 Chouteau Ave, St. Louis, MO 63103).
