In Loving Memory of Bettie Elaine Hooper

Bettie passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025 surrounded by her family.

She will be remembered for her determination, strength, and love for her family and friends. She was a great lover of the arts and theater. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Bettie is preceded in death by her beloved daughters Rene and Nancy. She is survived by her loving daughter Janet Lumley, her granddaughters Sarah Schweppe (Daniel), Margaret Lumley and great-grandchildren Gabriel and Alice Schweppe.

A private service will be held in the spring of 2026. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
