David Shawn Trower
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Shawn Trower,
who left this world peacefully on October 23, 2025, at the age of 37 in Lake St.
Louis, Missouri. David was born on September 5, 1988, in Creve Coeur, Missouri,
to his loving parents, Thomas and Deborah Trower. He was a cherished son,
brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend who touched the lives of all who had
the privilege of knowing him.
David graduated from Timberland High School, where he began a remarkable
journey of self-discovery and hard work at the young age of 15. With a work
release agreement from his Timberland High School, he embarked on a 21-year
adventure of learning multiple trades, embodying the spirit of William
Shakespeare's wisdom: “Jack of all trades, master of none, though oftentimes
better than master of one.” His determination and ability to adapt were hallmarks
of his character, as he faced life’s challenges with courage and an unwavering
spirit. David's loyalty and independence served him well, and he achieved success
on his own terms.
From an early age, David demonstrated a profound love for the outdoors. His
adventurous spirit found joy in hunting, boating, fishing, and swimming. A natural
athlete, thrived as a team member of both baseball and football teams, where his
leadership skills inspired those around him. David looked forward to the Bine
Families Memorial Day Pig Roast with friends to family reunions that brought
laughter and love together. David made special memories with friends gathering
for the weekends, attending concerts, and weddings David cherished his trips to
Tievoli Hills Resort and visiting Hermann, as well as unforgettable adventures in
Florida, Hawaii, and a special trip to Mexico with a dear friend.
David’s generous heart extended to everyone he met. He was always there to
lend a helping hand, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and compassion. He will
be dearly missed by his devoted family, including his parents, Thomas and
Deborah; his beloved sister, Brittany; his brother, Christopher, and his fiancée,
Lexi; and his treasured niece, River May Trower. He was preceded in death by his
Uncle David Longshore, Uncle Steve Longshore, as well as his grandparents and
great-grandparents, who welcomed him into their arms.
