Geraldine Viola Lahay (nee Albert) was born January 2, 1929 and passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by family on November 5, 2011 after a long and courageous journey with cancer.

Geri holds a special place in the hearts of many. Preceded in death by beloved husband Robert and parents Marguerite and Richard; loving mother of Jim (Doris), Jeanne, Lynne (Tom) and Carol; treasured grandmother of Rob, Keith (Holly), Jessica, Kelly (Corey), Joseph, Ben, Emily, Jacob, and Daniel; caring sister of Don (Shirley) and Richard (Shirley). Beloved friend and family to countless others whom she cared for greatly.

Geri loved family and home most and spent extra time on her many hobbies: gourmet cooking, arts and crafts, reading, volunteering and of course shopping!

At Geri’s request, funeral or memorial services will not be held. We ask those in her life to hold onto precious memories and celebrate her life. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Geri.
