Thana Sue Tanner (nee George) passed away peacefully in Arnold, Missouri on November 26th, 2025, at the age of 86. She was born in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas on November 8, 1939.

Preceded in death by her parents, James M. George and Giddeon Lou Stevens, and her loving husband of 28 years, Ronald Lee Tanner. Survived by her brothers, James D. George and Terry George and sister, Vickie Thomas; step-daughter Ann Olendorff and stepson, Greg Tanner as well as nephews, step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren and many friends including Cedarhurst friends.

Sue was a proud graduate of Roosevelt High School in Saint Louis, Missouri. Sue was a bookkeeper and executive assistant for many years for the “Big Red” the Saint Louis Football Cardinals of the National Football League. Sue was a devoted member of Oak Bridge Community Church. Sue and her husband Ron were also members of the Greeley Group.

Celebration of Life to be held December 16, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Front Room at Sqwires Restaurant in Lafayette Square, 1415 S. 18th Street, Saint Louis,
Missouri.
