Linda C. Dorris Neisinger

1/28/1956-11/27/2025

It’s with great sadness, we announce the passing of Linda C. Dorris Neisinger, a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who peacefully passed on November 27, 2025, at the age of 69.

Lyn’s life was defined by her unwavering love and devotion to her family. She poured her heart into raising her three daughters—Shannon, Erin, and Megan—teaching them to be strong, courageous, and faithful through her example. She worked tirelessly to raise three strong women, instilling in them resilience, independence, compassion, and an unshakable faith that continues to guide their lives. She was a proud and devoted grandmother who found her greatest joy in her seven grandchildren and her cherished great-grandson. She will forever love each of them to the moon and back. Her family was God’s greatest gift to her, the joy of her days and the comfort of her soul. With a love rooted in faith, grace, devotion, she gave of herself freely, trusting God to hold those she loved when she no longer could. That love—soft, faithful, and eternal—will continue to shine through the lives of all who were blessed to call her theirs.

As the eldest of five siblings, Linda learned early the strength that comes from responsibility and perseverance. Like all of us, she faced life’s struggles, yet she met each challenge with courage, strength, steadfast faith, and grace. Though a private person, her love was evident in every gentle word, every thoughtful gesture, and every moment she spent nurturing those around her.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, David J. Dorris; her mother, Rebecca A. Dorris; her brother, Larry J. Dorris; and her husband, Barry G. Neisinger.

She is survived by her daughters, Shannon (Mike) Stevenson, Erin (Gary) Carnie, and Megan (Chris) Hellman Conway; seven grandchildren, Michael (Abbey) Stevenson, Austin (Ava) Carnie, Andrew Carnie, Hunter (Natalie) Stevenson, Rebekah Carnie, Savannah Conway, and Tucker Stevenson; and her great-grandson, Waylon Stevenson. She is also survived by her siblings, David (Patricia) Dorris, Brenda (Gary) Prewitt, and Gary (Laura) Dorris; as well as two nieces, four nephews, a great-niece and several great-nephews, many cousins, and dear friends. She leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, faith, and strength that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will live on forever in the hearts of those she touched.

So sorry for the loss of your mother. Knowing she is with others that have gone before her is comforting but still leaves sorrow in your hearts. That sorrow will become less and less each day but her memory will remain in your hearts and minds. Our condolences to your family.
