Cletis Lowell Martin
Cletis Lowell Martin, age 91, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2025, at his home, surrounded by the love of his family.
Lowell was preceded in death by his sisters, Loretta Wuenscher and Jean Haefner. He is survived by his devoted wife of 68 years, Virginia Martin, whom he cherished deeply.
He was a proud and loving father to Tim Martin and his wife Pam, John Martin, and Jennifer Martin. He found immense joy in his grandchildren: Sam Martin and her husband Miguel, Ryan Martin and his wife Julie, Joshua Martin, Abigail Parsons, and Alissa Parsons. His legacy continues through his beloved great-grandchildren: Evie Ferrer, Ella Ferrer, Benjamin Martin, and Silas Martin, who brought him endless pride and happiness.
Lowell is also survived by his sister, Ann Kremer, and her husband, Bill Kremer.
A man of deep and abiding faith, Lowell loved church worship and had a true passion for leading others to Christ. He lived out his faith daily with a quiet humility and a servant’s heart. He was a gifted artist who worked in many mediums, especially woodworking, and took great pride in caring for his yard and home. He also enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, including dark chocolate and sweet treats—especially honey buns. His sense of humor was unmatched.
Lowell bravely served his country during the Korean War and was a proud United States Air Force veteran, a role he carried with honor throughout his life. In his early career, Lowell worked alongside his Dad, in the homebuilding business. In later years, he would go on to serve as a soul-winning Minister in the Church of Christ and ultimately retired as a building home inspector. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix!
Above all, Lowell will be remembered for his unwavering love for Virginia, his family, and his gentle, servant-hearted spirit. His life was one of devotion—to God, to family, and to others—and his legacy will live on in all who were blessed to know him.
“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” — Mark 10:45
