Joel Edward Neumann, age 52, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on January 3, 2026. He was born on March 23, 1973.
Joel is survived by his loving mother, Sandra Averill; his sister, Angela Lambert, and her husband William Lambert; his brother, Mark Averill; his nieces and nephew, Taylor Logan, Nathaniel Stumpf, Emily Stumpf, Sophie Lambert, and Kaylie Lambert; as well as great-nieces, a great-nephew, cousins, and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his beloved dad, Mark Averill, and his grandparents, Herbert Averill, Delores Parkton, and Bernard Neumann.
Joel will be remembered by those who knew and loved him.
My best friend in high school, so many good memories and fun times with Joel, “you putz” one of his favorite things to say. I was and still am saddened and shocked to hear about this. Deepest condolences and prayers go out to the Averill, Neumann, Lambert/Kirk and Stafford families, may God bless you all and help us through these hard times. I will cherish all the memories and will never forget this man, RIP my good friend, you will be truly missed.!
