Bonnie Mary Kreutz, nee. Morrell, age 75, passed peacefully on January 14th, 2026 surrounded by her family. Preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Janet Morrell, sister Kathy and brothers Vincent and Matthew. Survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Bob. Lovingly remembered by daughters Carrie, Annie (Neil), Julie (Tony) and her six grandchildren, George, Patrick, Kathleen, Eddie, Nellie and Daisy. Bonnie is also survived by her brother, Mark Morrell.
Bonnie was born in St. Louis, Missouri on February 19th, 1950. She graduated from the University of Missouri – St. Louis with a Bachelor’s degree in Education and loved teaching middle school in Catholic schools. Bonnie and Bob raised their three daughters in Kirkwood, where they became active members of the St. Peter Parish community. Bonnie loved living on a main street in Kirkwood, where you’d often find her walking and visiting with neighbors and friends.
Bonnie started her own private tutoring company in the early 2000’s and continued with it until retirement in 2024. She found her niche working one on one with middle school students from many Catholic schools throughout the St. Louis area. She created a test preparation course that helped hundreds of students improve their standardized testing scores. She adored her students and their families, and they adored her too. She made such a positive impact on their lives; she will be missed greatly by many.
Bonnie was very strong in her Catholic faith; it never wavered. Raised a devout Catholic by her parents and two uncles who were priests, she stayed actively involved in the Church through the ACTS retreats and Sisters of Service prayer group. She made countless friendships that she cherished deeply.

Bonnie was a beautiful person inside and out. She was kind and gracious, and helped me with packing when I moved to a different home. Her passing makes me realize how precious time is and that life is too short. She is now with Jesus and at peace. God bless Bonnie.
Bonnie was the kind of mother that made you understand what it was to be one. She made a big impact on me in my early 20’s and feel grateful to have spent time with her family and in her home.
