Cindy, I am sorry for your loss and Maureen and Jace. I hope you understand I want to remember Jim as he was. But you and your children are in my thoughts and prayers.

My brother was a talented, intelligent individual who was blessed with the ability to accept change and embrace it. Jim accepted me as no other and when he didn’t have too. I will miss his antics and wonderful sense of humor. I wish that there were many more years to spend together and share, but ultimately, I am blessed to have been a part of your life and even more to have you in my life. I LOVE YOU JIM!
I am so saddened to hear of Jim’s passing. Jim and I worked together at the radio station and he was always so funny and positive. We have this wall here that usually is only for bands to autograph when they come in but after Jim left, we noticed he had climbed onto a chair and had drawn a picture and signed his name too. I love that he left his mark here both in the autograph on the wall and in my life.
Iconic
Brother’ where art thou…
seems a good place to start.
Accepting the loss of Jimmy,
leaves certain scars upon the heart.
The man could be an ass,
of that, we surely knew.
But he bore a streak of goodness, that simply grew, grew and grew.
Intelligent as the day is long,
Jimmy had a wonderful mind.
A sense of humor to melt your soul,
and a viewpoint, one of a kind.
Damaged though, he may have been,
in a spectacular sort of way.
Building a better Self, on that,
Jim always had something to say.
The man tried so hard at times,
it’s mostly damned ironic.
The legacy Jim left behind,
nothing short…of Iconic.
