
Richard Quigley
Richard M. “Dick” Quigley passed away on January 25, 2026, in Des Peres, Missouri, just three days shy of his 85th birthday. Born on January 28, 1941, in Kansas City, Missouri, Dick lived a life marked by dedication to family, service to his country, and commitment to his work.
Dick served honorably in the United States Army as a Private First Class in the Artillery at Fort Leonard Wood. His time in the military reflected his sense of duty and discipline—qualities that would continue to define him throughout his life.
Following his military service, Dick embarked on a long and steady career with Southwestern Bell, where he worked for more than 25 years. His tenure there was a testament to his reliability and strong work ethic.
Family remained central throughout Dick’s life. He is lovingly remembered by his children and their spouses: Kathryn and Cary Haas; Trisha and Terry Crow; and Patrick and Jennifer Quigley. He also leaves behind three cherished grandchildren: Mara Crow, Benjamin Crow, and Caleb Quigley. Dick shared many years and a love for family with his former wife, Mary Quigley. He is also survived by his sister Karen Kearney.
He was preceded in death by his parents, C.O. Quigley and Esther Popplewell Quigley, as well as his sister Anne Mathews.
