James Robert Bonsanti passed away on January 18, 2026, at the age of 50.

He is survived by his parents, Robert and Darlene Bonsanti; his siblings: Maria (Lou) Anglo, Beth (Stu) Seley, Cathy (Mike) Lanter, Debbie (Joe) Gatto, Barbara (Jim) Griffith and John (Andrea) Bonsanti; many nieces and nephews; and an abundance of friends whom he considered his family.

Jim was passionate about feeding his culinary creations to everyone, especially to those he loved. He made a career working in the restaurant industry – most notably as owner / chef at Mangia Italiano on South Grand, where he earned a place on numerous “Best” lists. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
