Linda Kennedy Edwards
April 10, 1947 – February 15, 2026
Born in 1947, Linda grew up in the Skinker DeBaliviere neighborhood of St. Louis where she began her foray into the hijinks of life with her sisters Mary and Pat at St. Roch’s School.
In her twenties she fell in love with Joe Edwards and in 1972 they opened Blueberry Hill Restaurant & Music Club which grew into an iconic St. Louis institution and kindled the revitalization of the Delmar Loop.
In 1986 she debuted her visually-dazzling corner window displays at Blueberry Hill, many with live performances. They ranged from holiday tours de force like “Trimming Santa’s Tree” and “Easter Bunny’s Kitchen” to off-the-wall concepts like “Rosemary’s Baby Shower” and “The Terrifying Dentist’s Chair on Halloween.”
Her daughter Hope documented Linda’s oeuvre in the book The Window Display Art of Linda Edwards at Blueberry Hill Restaurant & Music Club. Linda’s creativity will perpetually shine from the coffee tables of fans everywhere.
Linda was a powerhouse of wit, irreverent humor, style, drama, love, and profound generosity. She was the life and soul of the party.
She will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends, including husband Joe Edwards, daughters Christine and Hope Edwards, sons-in-law Lee Todorovich and Josh Sommovilla, sister Pat Kennedy, and lifelong friends Barb Dulick, MaryAnn Smith, and Carol Conway-Long.

Dear Joe, Hope and Christine…….i am so sorry to hear of Linda’s death! I have so many fond memories of all the fun we used to have together!!! Becky had so much fun with Hope and Christine!
You are all in my thoughts and prayers!
Love, Tia
Oh! I cannot imagine the world without Linda! Indeed, she will always be near, right inside our heart!
