Michael Dean (Mickey) Olten passed away on May 17th, 2023 at St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, Missouri, at the age of 69 after a challenging battle with cancer.

He was born on February 9th, 1954 to Irene Fae (Olten) Koppelmann.

Michael was an adored husband and father to his wife Sharon Kay (Carroll) Olten, and daughter Joey Michelle Olten.

He was a very hard worker and spent 32 years as a journeyman carpenter and as a devoted member of the carpenters Local 2298 and Local 1839.

He spent his free time working on cars, tinkering in his garage, and loved to go camping and fishing.

He is survived by his wife Sharon, daughter Joey, two brothers Gary Olten and wife Melody, Craig Haynes, sister-in-law Emma Zelch and husband Clyde.

He was preceded in death by his mother Irene Fae (Olten) Koppelmann, step-father George H. Koppelmann Jr., and two brothers-in-law Elvin John Carroll and Larry Dale Carroll.

His body was cremated and his remains will be interred at Liberty Cemetery in Owensville, Missouri.
