Norma Batts
Norma F. Batts, age 68 of St. Peters passed away Saturday, January 7, 2011 at the Villages of St. Peters Nursing Home.
She was born March 16, 1943 in St. Louis to Noah Aubuchon and Mary Fox Aubuchon.
She is preceded in death by her father, Noah Aubuchon.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Williams (David) of Wentzville, grandchildren Adam W. Scearce (Sharon) of St. Charles and Sarah K. Scearce of St. Charles, mother Mary Aubuchon, brother Gary Aubuchon (Gladys) of Silva, Missouri, sister, Ruth Tremaine of Wentzville, and best friends Brenda and Patty.
Norma was an avid gardener; she loved flowers, fairies, flower arranging, dragonflies, and her cat. She was a giving person and wonderful friend. She will be dearly missed.
Although Norma and I have not spent time together in a few years, I have fond memories of her here on the farm. She loved gardening and sharing seeds she had saved from plants she grew. She introduced me to Seed Savers Exchange. She was a good friend and I will miss her.
