Wendt, Hannah Mae Patricia Born in Mocksville, NC. October 30, 1923, died January 8, 2012 at 88. The daughter of the late James Raleigh Frost and Johanna Mae nee Lynch Frost; wife of the late Roy James Wendt; sister of the late James D. Frost, Marian D. Allen, Stella Rust, Quintin R. Frost. Survived by brother Col. John R. Frost and daughters, Connie Nordman (John); Carol Kendall (John); Eileen Forsberg (Michael); Kathleen Rethemeyer (Daniel). Grandmother of 10; great-grandmother of 9; great-great-grandmother of 5. Pat, known as the hat lady, was a Rosie the Riveter in WWII. She loved music: cabaret, show tunes, and Johnny Mathis. She seldom missed an opportunity to sing a few lines and encouraged others to join in. In her later years her grandchildren joyfully sang along, which brought a smile to her face. Services: Memorial Service on January 22, 2012, 1 p.m. at Unity Church of Peace, 3701 Bayless Ave., St. Louis, MO.
