Sister Maryann Hapeman (Jim) and John (Margorie) Murray.
Preceded in Death by her Parents Clarence and Marie Murray, Husband John Garth Stoecker II, sons John Garth Stoecker III and Matthew Murray Stoecker.
Lynne lived a full work life, from working with her best friend Lynn Bell hanging wallpaper in Tennessee, shooting the breeze with the painters while mixing paint at Strothkamp’s in Manchester, designing interiors for various clients across St. Louis at IBD or helping others with their home interior projects while working at Cooper’s in Ellisville. Additionally, Lynne was actively involved in the National Railway Historical Society for a number of years and worked as a poll worker for many elections in St. Louis County. She was an avid reader of books amassing a catalog both in the house and online on Amazon in the 10’s of thousands. She was a master at online solitaire. She loved to watch the wildlife in the backyard in her later years.
Trips to places like Hawaii produced treasures like photographs that she took or the Zebra wood bought and shipped for the bench that John built for her in the front hall. A favorite place in her life was Menomonee Falls Michigan from which recalled many times in stories of her childhood. Of course, we cannot leave out her visit to Grindstone Island to spend time with family at their home there that also produced several great photographs that were proudly displayed at the house.
Lynne’s friendships during her life produced long lasting memories and treasures that she shared with friends and all her family members. Her quick wit and opinion on everything kept all of us on our toes and sometimes on our heels. We will miss her dearly but know that she is now sharing those things with all that preceded her on the next step of their journey.
A time of Celebration, and Reflection of her life will be held at:
