Virgil Gingery Sr., 67, of Festus, Missouri, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026, following complications from stage 4 cancer. He was born on February 15, 1959, in Peoria, Illinois.

Virgil was a devoted father, grandfather, and friend who will be remembered for his presence, strength, and the love he shared with those around him. He enjoyed his retirement and cherished time spent with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Gingery and Carrie Baldridge.

Virgil is lovingly survived by his children, Michael Gingery, India Gingery, and Virgil Gingery Jr., as well as a host of grandchildren, extended family members, and dear friends who will continue to honor his memory.
