Robert “Rob” Widmann

Robert “Rob” Widmann, age 67, of Arnold, Missouri, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on July 3, 1958, in St. Louis, Missouri.

Following his graduation from the University of Missouri–St. Louis, Rob began his career with A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc. He remained with the company through two major mergers and retired in 2025 after nearly 45 years of dedicated service.

Rob was a devoted St. Louis sports fan who especially loved cheering on the St. Louis Blues and St. Louis Cardinals. He was also a lifelong Grateful Dead fan, finding joy and connection through their music. More than anything, Rob treasured time spent with family and friends. He loved holidays, celebrations, and gatherings that brought everyone together, creating memories that will be cherished for years to come.

Rob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert F. Widmann and Ann M. Widmann.

He is lovingly survived by his wife Stacey Widmann (nee Casper), daughter, Melanie (James) Borgelt; stepchildren, Timothy (Devon) Eskew and Bradley Eskew; and father figure to Dylan Krepps, whom he loved as a son. He is also survived by his sisters, Lynn (Gregory) Sprich, Patricia (James) Seiler, Susan Casey, and Cathy Poe. Rob was a proud “Paw Paw” to Lincoln, Dean, and many other beloved grandchildren. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

A memorial in honor of Rob will be held on June 6, 2026, at Pietro’s, 3801 Watson Road, St. Louis, Missouri.  Private family gathering at 11:00 a.m., followed by an open Celebration of Life at 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
