Lena Carson
Lena Mae (Todd) (Siler) Carson, age 69, of Bryant, Arkansas, passed away peacefully and entered the presence of her Lord on April 18, 2026, at 3:00 PM. Born at home in Clifty, Arkansas on March 7, 1957, Mae was the daughter of Delores (Hudson) Todd and the late Andy Todd. She spent her life leaving an indelible mark of love, faith, and grace on everyone she met.
Mae was blessed with two children through her first marriage, Misty and Denny. In 1990, Mae married her devoted husband, Cody G. Carson. Together they shared 36 wonderful years of marriage, welcoming their son Christopher and enduring the bittersweet loss of their unborn daughter, Tiffany.
A true force of nature, Mae was a woman of immense character. During her modeling and acting career, she famously turned down a major billboard campaign for Virginia Slims to avoid setting a bad example for others—sacrificing international fame to maintain her integrity. Her career included serving as an extra on Magnum, P.I. in 1986, where she shared a memorable off-camera dance with Tom Selleck during the filming of the episode “All Thieves on Deck.”
More than her professional success, Mae was defined by her “ocean of love” and her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. She lived with a deep understanding that salvation is a gift from God, and she loved others simply because it was who she was.
Her life’s work was an outpouring of this faith, most notably through her powerful greeting and gift card ministry. From her bed at night, she read letters from the countless broken spirits, hopeless individuals, and lost souls who relied on her for strength, encouragement, and a path to Jesus. Her ministry was so constant that local postal workers knew Cody on sight by his massive stamp orders.
Her nurturing heart extended to anyone in need. Numerous abused and neglected children adopted Mae as their “REAL mom.” She also regularly fed and cared for local stray animals, from dogs and cats to squirrels and turtles, and held a special love for the backyard songbirds and hummingbirds that flocked to her care.
Mae was also a fierce warrior in her health journeys. She was a proud breast cancer survivor since 2007. In June of 2024, she underwent a double lung transplant and a massive hiatal hernia operation to correct a condition where 80% of her stomach had entered her chest cavity, causing her lungs to fail. While her new lungs were excellent, her stomach never fully healed. In March of 2025, she faced skin cancer, which later metastasized and, combined with related heart problems, ultimately led to her transition.
When Mae took her final breath, she was surrounded by the ultimate validation of her life’s work. Her husband, Cody, was by her side, while Misty and Whitney Sanders (mother to her grandson Misaiah) stood on each side of her bed. They were sharing stories of the profound, positive impact Mae had on so many. Mae left this world listening to the truth of her legacy: one of unconditional love, emotional healing, and countless lives deeply touched.
Mae is survived by her loving husband, Cody G. Carson; her mother, Delores Todd; her children, Misty Pritchett (Johnathan) and Christopher Carson; her siblings, Tammy Sizemore (Ripple), Vickie Walden (Roger), Fred Todd (Rita), David Todd, and Bud Todd (Karlene); her grandchildren, Zachary Siler (Kendall), Sarah, Noah, and Misaiah; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Andy Todd; her son, Denny Siler; and her unborn daughter, Tiffany Carson.
