Kenneth Langhorst
Kenneth Langhorst, aged 78, of Ballwin, Missouri, passed away on April 09, 2026. He was born on October 22, 1947.
Ken was a dreamer, bohemian, inquisitive, intelligent, quirky and caring. Though he lived a private life, he was generous with, and loved by those whom he grew close with. He had many talents, from tye-dying and air-brushing to gemstone cutting, photography, gardening and astrology chart-making to name a few. He loved to cook, and could speak at length about how to brew the perfect cup of coffee or sous-vide a cut of salmon. Ken also loved to travel, and would often drive cross country, exploring the western US and boondocking from the back of his pickup or wagon to capture the perfect picture of a wildlife scene. Ken was an Airforce Veteran from the Vietnam War, where he specialized in bomb navigational equipment for the B52 bomber, as well as teaching basic electronics. Later in life, Ken spent a stint as a salesman for Encyclopædia Britannica. Ken was passionate about art, and was a true student of life. He will be sorely missed.
Kenneth was preceded in death by Victor Langhorst, his father; Flora Langhorst, his mother; and Lynn Langhorst, his brother. He is survived by Tya Ward, his daughter; and Ollie Langhorst, his son.
