Judith (Wellons) Winter, 85, of Webster Groves, MO passed away peacefully at St. Luke’s Hospital on June 11, 2026.

Judy was born on March 12, 1941 and grew up in Affton. She graduated from Affton High School in 1959. She was preceded in death by her partner of over 30 years, Ivan Dobson; her mother Mary (McKinney) Wellons; and her father Edwin Wellons. She is survived by her son, Jeff (Deb) Hawley of Chesterfield, MO; her sister Lynda (Barry) Modell of Westlake Village, CA; her grandson Alec Hawley of St. Louis and his four children; her granddaughter Grace Hawley of St. Charles, MO; nephews Scott (Flavia) Modell of Potomac, MD and Mike Modell of San Diego, CA; and two great nieces.

A private interment with family and friends will take place in July. The family requests that donations be made in Judy’s memory to the American Heart Association or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
