Kim Heilweck

Kim was Fortified with the sacraments of the Holy Mother Church and passed away peacefully at the age of 71.
She was a dedicated teacher for many years and had two advanced degrees in both education and counseling. She cared deeply for others throughout her life and continued recently with her lifelong passions. She volunteered regularly with Mother Theresa’s Missionaries of Charity. She also participated in her garden club. She continued teaching after retirement by helping adults work toward their GED. Her generosity and friendship touched the lives of many.
The most important things to her were faith, family, and friends. Her greatest pleasure was spending time and enjoying her grand nieces and nephews.
Kim is survived by her siblings: Gayle (late John) McHenry, Michelle Heilweck, Joan (Michael) Mullen, and Joseph (Jennifer) Heilweck, and 9 nieces & nephews, and 7 great nieces & nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Bernard and Marie (McBride) Heilweck, and her aunts, Mary Ann and Patricia Heilweck.
Family extends heart felt thanks to the oncology/hematology team through BJC hospitals.
Visitation will be held at 5pm followed by 6pm memorial mass on Thursday, July 23 at St. Richard Catholic Church, 11223 Schuetz Rd., St. Louis, MO 63146.
