Paul A. Scholl of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2026, at the age of 77. He is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret (Peg) Scholl (née: Govert) of Wentzville, Missouri; one son, Andrew W. Scholl and wife Mellisa of Wentzville, MO; grandchildren, Heidi and Leo; brother, Lewis Scholl of Spencer, IN. 

He is preceded in death by his Father, John Scholl, Mother, Edith Scholl (nee: Catlin), sister, Betty Jane Harmon and brother, Donald Scholl.

Paul graduated from Connersville High School in 1966 and went on to attend Indiana State University in Terre Haute, IN. A visit to the local airport in Terre Haute launched a career in aviation that spanned 5 decades, granting Paul the opportunity to fly to all 50 states in the US as well as many other countries around the globe. Paul enjoyed taking long trips on his motorcycle, often with Peg, and eventually fulfilled a lifelong dream of Corvette ownership. He also loved to watch his grandchildren play their favorite sports and could be found cheering for them from the stands or at home via live-stream. Paul was a long-time member of the Order of the Elks and the Quiet Birdmen.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the O’Fallon, MO Elks Lodge #2587.
