In Loving Memory of Antoinette Hodge-Blair

Antoinette Hodge-Blair, age 67, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Missouri on June 24, 1959.

Antoinette was a woman of beautiful balance—strong and kind, gentle and tough. She possessed the kind of strength that could carry a family through difficult seasons while never losing the tenderness, compassion, and love that defined who she was.

As a single mother of two, Antoinette knew the true meaning of sacrifice. She worked hard, persevered, and did whatever was necessary for her children and her family. Her tremendous work ethic was more than just a personal quality—it was part of the example she set and the legacy she leaves behind.

Antoinette was truly the salt of the earth and a light to those around her. She had a unique way of touching people’s lives simply by being herself: genuine, hardworking, caring, and resilient. She could offer a gentle hand when someone needed comfort and stand firm when strength was required. Though life required her to be tough, it never eroded her kindness, and that rare combination made her truly special.

She was a woman who loved, worked, sacrificed, endured, and always kept moving forward. The strength she demonstrated as a mother helped shape the lives of her children, and the love she gave reached far beyond her immediate family. Antoinette was deeply loved by many. Those who knew her will remember different moments, conversations, and facets of her personality, but all will share one common truth: their lives were better because Antoinette was in them.

Her greatest legacy cannot be measured simply by the years she lived, but by the lives she touched, the family she raised, the love she gave, and the strength she passed on. Her physical presence will be deeply missed, but her lessons and love remain. Her light continues through her children, her family, her friends, and everyone who carries a piece of Antoinette in their heart.
