75, of Hazelwood, MO born April 5, 1937 passed away May 5^th, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Florence (Jacobwitz) Hurwitz, and wife Dorothy H. Hurwitz. Norman is survived by one sister and brother-in-law Helene and Irwin Schulman from Jersey City, New Jersey, children Steven Hurwitz, Cindy Hurwitz, and Cristine Hurwitz all of Connecticut. Four step children Jerry Juenger, Dan Trtanj, Cookie (John) Spatafora, and Jeanette Sheets; and best friend Pat Payne. Norman also has 3 grand children, and 1 great grand child, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Norman served in the U.S. Navy, after the Navy he became a maintenance man and worked for Container Corp., and Corley Printing. He was a HUGE fan of hockey, and the St. Louis Cardinals. Norman never met a stranger and everybody loved him. He was a great man! Graveside services will be held May 26, 2012 at 10:30am, New Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery, 9650 Bellefontaine Road, St Louis MO.
