George Joseph Winters
George Joseph Winters, 91, was called to his eternal home on September 12, 2026. He was born June 30, 1935 in St. Louis MO, the son of the late George Winters Sr and Mary F Winters (Watkins). George was known and loved by many. He loved Jesus, his family, friends and making people smile. George was preceded in death by his wife, Marian and their son George III. He was an Army Veteran and retired from Central Hardware.
George is survived by 4 children Michelle (Bill) Grill, Mike Winters, Mindy (Tim) Bauer, Matt (Tania) Winters. 8 grandchildren Jessica (Jared) Mather, Billy Grill, Kyle (Tara), Matthew, Alyssa Bauer, Abby, Sarah, Matthew Winters. 4 great grandchildren Autumn Grill, Conner and Camryn Mather, and his littlest buddy Tinsley Bauer.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St Joseph Catholic Church, Imperial on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at 10 am.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St Vincent de Paul Society or Sr Christine’s Food Pantry.
