Kelley Schnettgoecke

June 27, 1974 – August 23, 2026

Kelley Schnettgoecke, age 52, of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2026, following liver failure.

Kelley was raised in Florissant, Missouri, and went on to earn her bachelor’s, master’s, and Educational Specialist degrees from Lindenwood University. During her time at Lindenwood, Kelley enjoyed a successful soccer career, earning numerous accolades as both a player and coach. Among her many accomplishments, she was a three-time All-American and was inducted into the Lindenwood Hall of Fame.

Kelley dedicated her entire educational career to the Ferguson-Florissant School District, where she touched the lives of countless students, families, and fellow educators.

Above all, Kelley’s greatest joy was her daughter, Molly. Her love for Molly never wavered. Kelley cherished watching Molly excel in sports, school, and all that life brought her. Molly was truly Kelley’s pride and joy.

Kelley will be remembered for her kindness, laughter, love, and the many lives she touched throughout the years. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be forever loved and deeply missed.

Kelley was preceded in death by her parents, Cornell and Christine Bowen.

She is survived by her daughter, Molly Schnettgoecke; ex-husband, Shaun Schnettgoecke; brother, Clint (Amy) Bowen; and sister, Kristen (Matt) Pohlman, along with extended family, friends, former students, colleagues, teammates, and all those whose lives she touched.

Memorial & Celebration of Life

A Memorial and Celebration of Life honoring Kelley will be held on Sunday, November 8, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at:

Trigg Banquet Hall

Refreshments will be provided. No alcohol will be served.
