William Dale Haseltine
William Dale Haseltine, age 83, of Chesterfield, Missouri, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Sharon Haseltine; his son, Bradley (Whitney) Haseltine; his daughter, Brittany Causey; his grandson, Logan Causey.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Stanley Haseltine; his mother, Grace Maxine Haseltine; his sister, Carol Bergman; and his son-in-law, Nathan Causey.
From his early days helping customers on the sales floor at Stallone’s Formal Wear to his eventual role as Divisional Sales A.V.P. of J. Riggings, Dale truly embodied the spirit of hard work and dedication. He spent 35 years in the retail industry, learning the business from the ground up. Throughout his impressive climb to leadership, he never forgot his roots on the showroom floor. He was widely known not just for his sharp business mind, but for his kindness, his professionalism, and the genuine connections he made with everyone he met.
Dale was a man defined by his deep love for anything with a motor and wheels. Over his lifetime, he owned more than 20 Corvettes and loved riding his Harley-Davidson, making memorable trips to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
In his quieter moments after retirement, His favorite hobby was restoring a 1955 Chevy Bel Air, a labor of love that he proudly displayed at local car shows. He could also be found cheering on his beloved St. Louis Cardinals, something he loved to do with his sister, Carol, or settled in to watch a classic western movie. In his later years, he took pride in volunteering for the Chesterfield Police Department in their VIPS program, where he met many wonderful people. He also enjoyed his monthly lunches with his high school friends.
