Gieseking, Margaretha E (Marge), October 27, 1939 – October 9, 2026

Wife of the late Stanley Gieseking, daughter of the late Elizabeth (Folk) and Nicholas Potje, Mother of the late Jeannie Doerr (Donn).

Dear Mother of Theresa Vietor (Richard), Thomas (Elisa), Joseph (Laura), and Elizabeth (Holly). Dear sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many others. Beloved Grandmother to eight and Great Grandmother to seven.

Marge was a devoted and carrying member of the Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital staff, working many years before her retirement. She was a beautiful person, always thinking of others before herself. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren, playing bingo, cards, shopping, gardening and the occasional trip to the casino. She made the most of her time, enjoying the simplest of pleasures.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Gary Sinise Foundation, Humane Society of Missouri or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Mass will be held on November 14^th at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church at 10:00 am. Church is located at 3140 Meramec Street, St. Louis, Mo. 63118.
