Linda Sickles

Linda Sickles, age 74, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2026. Born on August 22, 1952, she was a creative, adventurous, and loving spirit.

An incredible artist, Linda found immense joy in exploring the world. She traveled widely throughout her life, always capturing the beauty of her journeys through the lens of her camera. She had a profound love for animals—especially her beloved cats—and possessed a remarkable green thumb. As an amateur botanist, she could identify almost any plant by sight. Her favorite spot was her screened-in porch, where she spent countless peaceful hours watching the local birds and enjoying the outdoors. Above all else, Linda cherished the time she spent with her family and her many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fabian Sickles, and her parents, Albert and Irene Wilt [optionally add other preceded family members here].

Linda is survived by her son, Jeffrey (Pamela) Sickles; her brothers, Kenneth (Terri) Wilt and James (Dorris) Fink; and her sister, Joann (Lee) Taylor.

A celebration of Linda’s life will take place on November 22, 2026, at Heritage Weddings & Events, located at 6482 State Hwy MM, House Springs, MO, beginning at 12:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Linda’s honor to the ASPCA, the Humane Society of Missouri, or the Missouri Botanical Garden.
