Thomas William Donovan, 56, died Wednesday, July 25, 2012, surrounded by family. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Jim, sister Barb, nephew Jimmy, and great-niece Mariyah. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer, Jessica, Katie, and Dylan. Grandchildren, Jordan, Keagan, Harley, Anthony, and Aaliyah. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews.

He was born February 14, 1956, the ninth of thirteen children of George and Marian Donovan in St. Louis, MO. Tom was always friendly and always eager to help in any way possible. An avid reader, cook, and Civil War Buff, Tom loved learning and teaching his children. Tom also enjoyed sports and music, and when either was on, he had a good time. He served in the United States Army.

Services will be held at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 31 at 10 am. Donations can be made to the Jefferson Barracks Veterans Hospital, in appreciation of their treatment and care.
