Mr. William L. Chandler
William L. Chandler passed away at 12:49PM on Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. He was the fifth child of six children born to his parents Willie and Linda Chandler. At the time of death, he was a resident of Del Haven Manor. William, or Mr. Chandler, as he preferred to be called, was known to be a “character”. He had an intelligent mind and good heart. His presence always had an affect on those around him. His willingness to give insightful advice, make others smile or laugh, and many other good qualities will certainly be missed. William’s heart has been donated to science. His memorial services were held at St. Louis Cremation on Wednesday, August 1, 2012. This was also the National Day of Minority Life Donor Awareness Day.
William was educated through the St. Louis Public School system. At an early age, his teachers realized the he had exceptional intelligence and placed him at a school for exceptional students.
William served in the United States Air For. He received an honorable discharge.

As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins ands friends. William was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Chandler (Brother) and Barbara Ann Carroll-Chandler (Wife).
