A lifetime resident of Saint Louis, Jack Behr, died at St. Mary’s Hospital on August 14^th at the age of 90.

At his request, no service will be held. His wish of being donated to St. Louis University is being honored.

Jack was born June 27^th, 1922 in Saint Louis, MO. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy, during World War II. After the war Mr. Behr , an only child, married his wife Jean, the youngest of 13 and together they had 4 children. Jack made his living as a life insurance salesman but most will remember him for his quick sense of humor and seasoned joke telling ability.

He is survived by his wife Jean, daughters and their spouses Teddy and Edward Gruener and Cindy and Denis Ballany and son and his spouse, William and Rebecca Behr, 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Behr was preceded in death by his son, Jackie Behr.
