Betty Rose Grissom

Betty Rose (nee Acinelli) Grissom passed away on October 2, 2012. She was born June 17, 1924 in St. Louis, MO.
She is survivied by her children Rose Theresa Hallemann of Pevely, MO, Sylvester Anthony (Paula) Grissom of Barnhart, MO and Patricia Ann (Lee) Benton of Oakville, MO, her grandchildren Robert Dalton (Linda) Hallemann of O’Fallon, MO, Kelley Maria Grissom of Arnold, MO, Nicholas Anthony (Jennifer) Grissom of Imperial, MO, Dennis Lee Sutton of Fenton, MO, Melissa Ann (Michael) Thebeau of Oakville, MO and Shawna Maria Benton of Oakville, MO, her Great-Grandchildren Christina Ryan Hallemann, Alexandria Lynn Hallemann, Jacob Anthony Hallemann, Abigail Marie Slattery, Ashley Ann Slattery, Jillian Lee Grissom, Adam Anthony Grissom, Jordan Ashbaugh, Skylar Christopher Sutton, Aubrey Nicole Sutton, Isabella Marie Thebeau, Nathan Michael Thebeau and Dalton Edward Benton, her Brother Peter John Acinelli, and many nieces and nephews.
Proceeded in Death by her parents Pietro and Theresa (nee Gallo) Acinelli, her husband of 58 years Dalton Durell died Feb 26, 2006, Her daughter Phyllis Patricia died March 13, 1959, Her grandson Brian A. Hallemann died January 23, 2010, Her great-grandaughter Elizabeth Michael Thebeau died March 23, 2002, Her siblings Albert Acinelli, Eugene Acinelli, Frederick Acinelli, Angelina (nee Acinelli) Boggs, Helen (nee Acinelli) Morgan, Evelyn (Acinelli) McKechnie and Billie Acinelli.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish in Arnold, MO since 1962. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, playing cards and puzzles. She was a very giving and loving person and she opened her home to anyone in need. A Memorial Service will be held at Immaculate Conception Parish in Arnold, MO. A luncheon will be provided immediately following mass.
