Paul Swanson
Paul John Swanson of St. Louis, MO died Monday, Jan 7th, just shy of his 70th birthday. Paul is survived by 3 daughters and 8 grandchildren, Storm Swanson with Julia and HonaLeah Swanson, Mariah (Sean) Sterling with Deavon Swanson, Trinity and Zoe Sterling, and Misty (Tom) Hollingsworth with Drake, Chris and Georgia Hollingsworth. He was a member of Local Teamster 133 for many years. He often took his grandchildren to local parks and conservation areas. A bench is planned in his name at a conservation close to his home where his grandchildren can go and visit. A memorial dinner will be held at Tucker’s in Soulard on Saturday, Jan 26th at 4 pm.
I love and miss you daddy. I am having a little boy in June. It is so strange with out you here. You were the one constant in my life. I could always count on you being there even if it was just to talk to. I will miss you calling me “schnookums” I told you that weekend that it was ok to go, and it was. But oh how I miss you! You were my family. Now you are gone, I know you are watching over me, I just wish I could hug you one more time. Dont worry about Jak and Hona they know you loved them. I hope my stories got through to you those last few days. You might be passed from this realm but I know you are there waiting and watching over us. I love you.
I know a bit what you’re going through. Lost 3 people this year, one right before xmas. Everyday I think of one of them. I think, wow she’d love this. Or go to call her. I miss her
