Donna Jean Devine-Heuertz
Donna Jean Devine-Heuertz, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away peacefully on January 11th, 2013 at the age of 63. Donna was a retired flight attendant, artist and florist. Donna is preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Devine. She leaves behind her husband, Tom Heuertz; two daughters, Erin Edwards and Shannon Sullivan; one grandson, Caden Sullivan; her father and stepmother David and Maggie Devine; a sister, Kathleen Baratoff; two brothers, Dennis and Michael Devine and many other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, January 16th at 7:00pm in the small prayer chapel at the Woods Chapel United Methodist Church, 4725 NE Lakewood Way, Lee’s Summit MO 64064. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to the American Stroke Association.

Marveen and I wanted you to know how sad we are feeling for you guys, yet happy that Donna now gets a long rest and once again gets to be pain free. Tom, we will always be thankful that you and Donna were able to make that last trip to Oregon, when we all got to spend time together at our Mom’s house. We hope that things will start to smooth out for you all and we will pray that your pain will go away as soon as possible. We send our love, best wishes and condolences to you all.
