Lori Ann Bailie

Lori Ann (nee Stephan) Bailie was born February 23, 1967, to the late Walter and Helen (nee Dreger) Stephan. She was baptized on June 4, 1967 at Immanuel United Church of Christ. Her godmothers were Amanda and Minne Stephan. She was confirmed on April 12, 1981 at Immanuel UCC and her memory verse was Ecclesiastes 7:9; “Be not quick to anger , for anger lodges in the bosom of fools.”

Lori graduated from Hazelwood West Senior High and studied accounting at Sanford Brown College. She worked as a secretary at Beaulieu Marketing.

Lori was very active at Immanuel UCC. She was a Sunday School teacher, a member of the Contemporary Worship team, Ferguson Partnership, a server at Wurstmarket, and participated in the bowling and volleyball team at church. She enjoyed crafts, card games, the St. Louis Zoo, Grant’s Farm, the St. Louis Cardinals and Blue’s. ” The Girls” met with Lori regularly for dinner.

Lori was married to David Bailie on August 23, 2003 at Immanuel UCC. He survives her along with her mother Helen Stephan, mother-in-law Carolyn (nee Hill) Bailie, brothers James and Paul Stephan, sister-in-law Beverly Stephan, nieces Alma and Aundria Stephan, and great nieces Kelsi and Carli Seymour. Lori is preceded in death by her brother William Stephan.

Service: Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Immanuel United Church of Christ, 221 Church Street Ferguson, MO 63135. Visitation at 10am, memorial service 11am. There will be a luncheon following the memorial service
