Joan S. Kemper passed away peacefully Sunday, January 27, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pearl and Homer Stephenson of Johnston City, IL. She was the devoted wife of Robert J. Kemper and beloved mother of Tom (Meredith) Kemper of Little Rock AR, Joe (Jeanette) Kemper of Little Rock and Bill (Susan) Kemper of St. Louis. She was the much loved and cherished grandmother of Robert Kemper of Little Rock, Sean and Nels Rosvall and great grandson Anderson Rosvall. She is survived by her brother Bob Stephenson (Jackie) of Johnston City, IL and sister Marilyn Stout (Gerald) of Panama City, FL.

Joan was a creative person who was accomplished at home crafts, sewing, cooking and golf. She was a loving individual who cherished her time with friends and family. Known for her friendly disposition, she had many friends who will sorely miss her.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at St. Louis Cremation, 2135 Chouteau Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri on Thursday, January 31, 2013, at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M., followed by the service at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to a charity of your choice in Joan’s memory.
