Margaret Ann (Maggie) Bradford passed away on May 17th at Cedar Crest Manor in Washington, MO. Maggie was born to Mary L. “Polly” (nee Nicholson) Wiele and Warren A Wiele in St. Louis, MO on Nov. 9, 1946. Maggie grew up in St. Louis and attended grad school and high school there. In 1963 she married Joseph Schmitz, a son Steven M. Schmitz was born to that union on Jan. 26, 1964. There were divorced 2 years later. In 1970 Maggie married Lawrence Bradford. That marriage ended a few years later. In her later years, Maggie was married to Jack Thompson, who did not survive her. Maggie’s mother also preceded her in death. Maggie is survived by her son Steve Schmitz and her father Warren A. Wiele and three cousins, Charlene Lindsey, Diana and Eddy Schallmeyer and many friends. Maggie chose cremation, with her ashes to be buried with her mother in St. Peters Cemetery in Washington, MO. A committal service will be held at the cemetery on May 27th at 11:00 AM.
