Wisdom from Betty; ” If you can count at least 5 Good Friends on one of your hands you are the richest person in the world.” Well, Betty’s wealth was beyond that it would take both hands and feet to count each of her friends. Betty talked fondly of her house on Nebraska Ave. Her days sitting on the front steps with her friends talking laughing and causing mischief. She loved all the kids that came to her house as her children were growing up and the ones she called her boys.
Betty worked for years in the Health Care Career. But her foundest memories were in Labor and Delivery at the old Incarnate Word Hospital. She was a compassionate caregiver. That is why when she picked the Baker Medical group to be her primary caregivers she stayed with them. To Dr. Carl, Dr. Gregg and Dr Paula, Betty’s family can not express their gratitude enough.
The Funeral Mass will be June 29, 2013 at St. Vincent Depaul Church at 10 am with a luncheon to follow in the church hall.
In Lieu of flowers please donate in Betty Brickey’s name to the St. Vincent Depaul Church or/ and Rosati Kain High School.

Betty was much more than what has been written about her. She will be deeply missed. As I go and do our daily routine I see the every day people who met her and send their condolences and you can see in their eyes that little talk they had ment something to them. just like our every day runs ment something to us. especially her grandchildren who got love from her that no one can ever replace.
