Rosemary Pennington
Rosemary Pennington passed away peacefully on July 18, 2013.
Rosemary was born March 11, 1932 in Clarksdale, Mississippi to the late George W. and Mamie K. (Joyner) Jessup.
She is survived by her adoring son Michael G. Belton, Sr.; her cherished garandchildren Derrick Belton, Dana (Ronnie) Logan, Delbert Belton, Michael G. (Candace) Belton, Jr., and Kimberly Howse; her great-grandchildren; Kiera Belton, Kiera Howse, Angelia Belton, Gerald Howse, and Mauriel Logan. Rosemary was also a dear aunt to Bonita (Herman) Penny, Renaldo Morris, Arnette “Jerry” Morris, Diann Morris, Maurice West and Marissa (Lamar) McFarland.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Linda Trigg and her brothers and sisters; Ida Chatman, Clifton Jessup and Tom Mose Jessup.
Rosemary had a large family who loved her dearly and took good care of her during these last years. She also had many friends, some of whom she met through her bowling group, which she loved to go to. Others may remember her for the care that she gave to them during her time as a home healthcare nurse.
The family would like to give thanks also to her caregiver Ashley and the rest of the workers at Heartland Hospice for the tender nurturing that Rosemary received in their charge.
There will be a viewing for Rosemary on Thursday, July 25th, 2013 beginning at 11 am and following by a closed casket prayer service at noon, at the chapel of St. Louis Cremation, 2135 Chouteau Ave., St. Louis MO 63103. Her ashes will then be buried on top of her daughter’s grave at St. Peters Cemetery.
Michael Belton Sr & Family. May God keep His arms around you in this hour of bereavement. You loved her, but God loved her best. Cooper and I are here for you when you need us. We love you. With Love and Prayers.
