Rita passed away peacefully at home on August 9, 2013. Rita was 78 years old. She will be missed by her sister Jean (Donald) Roth, Uncle Peter Paul Carmi, 5 Nieces and Nephews (Donna, Sandra, Dwayne (Darline), Tina (John), and Darryl). She was a great Aunt to 8, great-great Aunt to 6, also a number of cousins. She was preceded by her parents John W. Vanac and Katherine E. Durham. Rita was a 1957 graduate of St. Louis University, with a B.S. In Medical Technology. Rita has requested Cremation and there will be no viewing. Internment will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
