Kevin Love peacefully passed away on September 30, 2013, after a short but remarkable fight against cancer. A memorial service will be held at St. Gabriel the Archangel Church, 6303 Nottingham Avenue, on Friday, October 4, at 5.00pm.

Kevin was born on October 18, 1954, in St. Louis. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in St. Louis in 1973. Kevin was a successful and much admired salesperson and manager for many years at Plaza Motors in St. Louis. An avid sports fan, Kevin cheered on his hometown Cardinals, Rams and Blues with much energy though nothing made him happier than to watch his children on the court or field of play. Kevin’s quick wit and calm manner was much loved in life, and will be remembered and missed by his family and large network of friends.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Sherry, and his children, Julia and Nick; his sisters, Ardyth (Bob) Leady, Genelle (Linn) Laird, Juanita (the late Donald) Finn, and Teresa Powers; and his brothers Fred Love and Bruce (CeCe) Love. Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Fred Love and his mother, Bessie Currie.
