Carolyn Ann Steffen

St. Louis Cremation Carolyn SteffenCarolyn Ann Steffen (nee Hardy) passed away on Friday January 3rd, 2014 at Brookings Park in St. Louis. Carolyn was born in St. Louis to John and Jesse Hardy and attended Greenville College to become an elementary teacher. This was the start of her service to the community. For all her adult life she gave selflessly to others and participated in many different programs and organizations to help those in need. In the later years of her life she was very active through Bonhomme Presbyterian Church in West St. Louis County. At Bonhomme Carolyn taught Sunday school, participated in community outreach programs and collected Christmas and Easter gifts for disadvantaged youth.

Carolyn leaves behind her loving husband John, five children; Mary (Dean) Vinslauki, Nancy (Richard) Inghram, John (Randee), Will (Diane), and James (Kelly), twelve grandchildren; Heather, William, Tyler, Lily, Drew, Madi, Carly, Jenna, Lauren, Kaylee, Jake and Savannah, a sister and hundreds of friends; all of whom will miss her love and friendship.
