Kevin G. Keating, age 58, of the Florissant area of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones on July 13th, 2014 after his short but courageous battle with lung cancer.

Kevin was born in St. Louis on September 15th, 1955 to the late James Keating and Marjorie Keating. He graduated from Hazelwood Central High School. Before his illness, Kevin worked at Venture Distribution Center, ERX Logistics, Woodbridge Corp., Anixter Corp., YRC/UTI Logistics and most recently at Wainwright Industries as a forklift operator.

Kevin is survived by his beloved significant other of 17 years Marge Wamser and his step-daughter Angela Wamser. He also leaves behind his loving mother, Marjorie Keating and his dear siblings Suzanne (Michael) Flug of Chicago, Michael Keating, Patrick (Debbie) Keating and Timothy (Frances) Keating. He was the proud uncle of Michael French, Kevin French, Brian Keating, Matthew Keating, Christian Keating and Katherine Keating Schroer. He was preceded in death by his father James G. Keating.

Services: A Celebration of Kevin’s life will be held at the VFW Post 4105 located at 410 St. Francois in Florissant MO 63031 on Sunday, July 20th, 2014 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Please come share your memories. In lieu of flowers, donations to Optum Hospice (who showed such kindness in caring for Kevin during his illness) appreciated.
